This is a great country restaurant. Someone has breathed new life into it. The food is really really good. Best biscuits and gravy in the area! There is a fire going up front and new artists pictures on the wall. Definitely worth stopping by. It is right at the base of the mountain. Stop by before or after your hike.

This was a good place for comfort food, our server was very nice. Weekday lunch price was good and servings were sufficient. Three small tiers for seating, the atmosphere is like a cabin complete with fireplace at entrance. Not fancy, but sweet. Recommendations: chicken salad sandwich, fried chicken (boneless) plus my mom LOVED their corn nuggets

The people here were all really friendly A+. The restaurant inside is really unique and lots of things to look at . I love when places have a little character. My husband and I got our food in reasonable time nothing too crazy . Our food was really yummy and hot. I definitely recommend the cinnamon bun pancake !! Sooooo yummy.! The only complaint I have was the seat I sat on , it was a little uncomfortable since the springs felt like they were no longer holding the seat cushion up but other than that excellent place !
